Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Stockport cluster and cover surrounding towns. You’ll work locally, starting and finishing from home, to diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs so members can be back on the road quickly.

You’ll operate with your own RAC van and diagnostic kit, benefitting from a competitive base salary and achievable OTE, while enjoying a long history of reliability and growth at RAC.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home while delivering strong member service and tackling roadside challenges.
