RAC in the United Kingdom is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work at the roadside, supporting members across local areas. You’ll begin and end each day from your home and be deployed regionally to resolve faults quickly.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence with few points, plus several years of automotive experience. Attractive base pay plus overtime is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and tackle challenges head-on to help members get back on the road.
