Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work independently to diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to members who need it most.

As part of our Patrol division, you’ll develop technical skills through structured training, gain IMI accreditation, and enjoy a supportive environment with ongoing learning and career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
