RAC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
The role starts at £36,400 base salary with a realistic OTE of £61,000, with overtime and bonuses available. You will work in a field-based role with demand-led shifts averaging around 40 hours per week and opportunities for development.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
- 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostic support
- Assist customers and reassure members on scene
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs to get members back on the road
