Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician in Bridgend to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK. You’ll start and finish from home, operate with your RAC van and equipment, handling breakdowns, diagnostics, battery and tyre tasks with speed and care.

The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Assist members with urgent breakdowns and safe roadside procedures.
