Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, complete tyre changes, and provide quick, confident solutions to help members continue their journey.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience in vehicle maintenance or as a technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Work independently with the latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road quickly.
