RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and ensure members are back on the road with safety and reassurance.

The role offers a structured development programme, hands-on learning and accreditation through IMI, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience if NVQ Level 2 route; or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Use latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road.
