Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair vehicles on the roadside and assist members in getting back on their journeys quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years' experience in vehicle maintenance.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs.
• Provide diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and customer reassurance.

Skills

NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Veh

2+ years of experience

5+ years of experience as Vehicle Tech

Full UK driving licence
