Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to be part of the Warrington cluster, visiting customer sites with a RAC van and diagnostic kit. You’ll perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs on the go, delivering high-quality roadside service across our local area.

You’ll work a full-time 40-hour week with occasional Saturdays, earning £40,170 base with OTE up to £52,000 through bonuses and overtime. A guaranteed overtime option can raise base pay further.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks on customers' vehicles.
• Manage stock, complete reporting and maintain customer conversations.
• Drive to customer locations with a RAC van and provide first‑class service.
