Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to deliver expert maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers at driveways and car parks in the Warrington area. You’ll work from your RAC van, equipped with a full diagnostic kit and tools, providing high‑quality service on site.

Expect a 40‑hour week with core hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Base salary £40,170 with OTE up to £52,000, optional overtime to boost earnings, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnostics and repairs at customer sites.
• Manage stock and complete reporting.
• Engage with customers and represent RAC on driveways and car parks.
