Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to join our Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You will visit customer locations, perform maintenance and diagnostics, and deliver high-quality roadside service with our RAC van and equipment.

You will work a 40-hour week with structured schedule and optional overtime, in a Warrington-area cluster covering Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton‑le‑Willows and surrounding towns. A competitive package includes base pay, overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repairs at customer locations
• Manage stock and report on service delivery
• Provide first-class customer service and represent RAC on-site
