Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Mechanic to deliver maintenance and diagnostic services directly to customers in the Warrington cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll operate a RAC van with fuel card, wear a full uniform and use your toolkit to complete servicing, diagnostics and repairs on site.

Expect a competitive base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus a guaranteed overtime option increasing base pay.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on customer vehicles in mobile settings.
• Manage stock and conduct basic reporting; communicate with customers during visits.
• Travel locally to customers' driveways and car parks as scheduled.
