Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to join the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll service and diagnose vehicles at customer locations with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided.

Expect a 40-hour week with some Saturdays and opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and bonuses. You’ll work across Warrington cluster areas, visiting customers on a pre-booked schedule, with no reactive callouts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks for customer vehicles.
• Manage stock and perform reporting.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and drive customer satisfaction.
