Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom recruits a Superflex Roadside Patrol technician to deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely while handling varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and peak demand periods.

You’ll combine technical expertise with exceptional customer service, using diagnostic tools to identify faults and get members back on the road

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Shifts include evenings, weekends and peak demand periods.
• Use diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road quickly.

Skills

5+ years' experience as Vehicle Tech/M

2+ years' experience

Full UK driving licence

Education
