Job summary

WR Logistics in Bristol is seeking a Road Freight Account Manager to own and develop key customer relationships within an international freight forwarding network. The role is based in a small Bristol office with a close-knit team and a 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will manage road freight customer accounts, understand requirements, coordinate with operations and partners, and seek opportunities to grow spend.

• Experience in road freight account management, customer service or operations.
• Good understanding of road freight services and customer requirements.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact for your customer accounts
• Building relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing business
• Preparing quotations and following up on customer enquiries
• Liaising with operations, overseas partners and transport providers
• Monitoring service performance and resolving customer queries
• Keeping customers informed and ensuring their requirements are understood
• Maintaining accurate account records and pricing information
