Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering a residential development. You will coordinate day-to-day site activity, promote safe practices, and ensure quality and timelines are met on site in a collaborative team.

You will liaise with contractors, NHBC, and stakeholders, deputise for the Site Manager when needed, and help manage snagging with new homeowners, while upholding safeguarding and safety standards on site.

Formación

• CSCS supervisor accreditation is required, with SMSTS and First Aid beneficial.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements is preferred.
• Experience in housebuilding or residential construction is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity, ensuring programme, budget and quality standards are met.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and manage site discipline.
• Coordinate snagging with new homeowners and ensure timely completion.
