Job summary

Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a residential development. You will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate day-to-day site activity, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to high quality.

You'll promote safe practices, monitor Build Stage Inspections, and liaise with contractors, NHBC and homeowners. A strong focus on organisation, communication and problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination skills on a construction site.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices and culture.
• Experience in residential housebuilding or similar environments.
• Valid UK driving licence and CSCS supervisor accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with day-to-day construction management in line with programme, budget and quality.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Carry out health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to reduce risks.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to maintain progress.
• Deputise for the Site Manager and uphold site management standards.
• Liaise with homeowners and coordinate timely snagging completion.
