Job summary

Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a residential development. Working with the Site Manager and project team, you will coordinate on-site activity, ensuring safety, quality and progress.

This hands-on role offers a great opportunity to build your site management experience, including planning work packages, liaising with contractors, NHBC and homeowners, and deputising for the Site Manager when required.

Qualifications

• CSCS supervisor accreditation is required.
• SMSTS qualification and First Aid certificate.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements.
• Previous experience in housebuilding or residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity.
• Promote safe working practices on site.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspections.
• Carry out health and safety inductions.
• Plan and coordinate work packages and logistics.
• Work with contractors, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Deputise for Site Manager as required.
• Liaise with new homeowners and coordinate snagging.
