University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Pathway Coordinator for the Rheumatology team (18.5 hours). You will support elective surgical pathways and ensure timely RTT-compliant treatment, coordinating with clinicians and ensuring smooth patient flow.

The role requires IT literacy, experience in admin/patient-facing environments, and knowledge of RTT pathways. Flexibility across specialities and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in an administrative or patient-facing role.
• Understanding of Patient Access Policy.
• Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Proactively manage Rheumatology waiting lists from decision to admit through to treatment.
• Book and manage clinic activity; liaise with Consultants and clinical staff for patient flow.
• Monitor waiting lists, identify patients nearing RTT targets, escalate capacity issues.
