The role requires strong organisation, communication and teamwork to manage complex appointment processes within a busy imaging department.

The post offers 37.5 hours per week with travel between UHL hospital sites as needed; training will be provided and previous healthcare experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient pathway from booking radiology appointments to receiving patients at the reception.
• Manage the reception and appointments service, including clerical, administrative and secretarial duties for complex procedures.
• Ensure patient waiting times align with published targets and departmental priorities.
• Loster areas for improvement with the Administration Team Leader and implement changes where appropriate.
