Job summary
Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support RF systems and networking in the Cambridge/UK region. You will engage with customers from discovery through capability delivery, providing technical input to Sales and ensuring safe, high-quality demonstrations and training.
The role requires proven field engineering experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel regularly within the UK and overseas.
Qualifications
- Degree or similar technical education required.
- Significant experience with RF systems and RF spectrum.
- Proven understanding of networking principles and tools.
- Proven field engineering experience.
- Proven training delivery experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Sales at all stages of the sales process.
- Deliver technical guidance directly to customers/end-users as needed.
- Engage with Sales to support objectives.
- Ensure health and safety compliance across activities.
- Produce accurate FAE plans and technical reports.
