Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking a skilled Chef for Lisburn to join a world leading facilities management company. You will prepare and cook food to high standards, uphold HACCP, and work as part of a team to ensure service is delivered on time.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 7:30am–2:30pm, with 20 days annual leave and a company pension. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary experience and HACCP knowledge.
• NVQ level 2/3 or City & Guilds 706/1&2 or above.
• Experience in contract catering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and hygiene.
• Prep service counter and ensure timely service.
• Deliver high levels of customer service.
• Record temperatures, update cleaning schedules, and handle cash as needed.
• Manage purchasing and weekly ETA with finance.
• Report equipment issues to Head Office.
• Oversee opening/closing of outlets per procedures.

The Role

• Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.
• Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service
• Providing the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
• Work as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
• Completing any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing uptillsand recording daily sales figures on the system.
• Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements;in particular theadministration of purchasing, cash handling,bankingand management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA)
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces etc. to the relevant Head Office department
• Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried outin accordance withCompany procedures.

• Previousexperience working in a contract catering environment
