Mount Charles Group is a leading facilities management provider based in Belfast, seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at ICC Waterfront Hall. You will oversee cleaning operations, ensure high standards, and support site staff.

The role involves shift-based work: evenings and weekends, along with audits, payroll assistance, and compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for reading, writing, speaking and listening to understand safety and work instructions and to communicate with customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Contract auditing – carry out quality audits as per schedule and policy.
• Client contact – meet with clients as per schedule.
• Assisting with payroll when needed.
• Check staff uniforms.
• Induction training for new starts and staff moving sites as per induction training list.
• Ensure all staff complete their roles to the best of their abilities and check areas adhoc.
• Maintain fully stocked areas, including toilet accessories and hygiene dispensers.
• Flexible approach and holiday cover for supervisors.
• Stock ordering.
• Ensure Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary.
• COSHH compliance and colour coding.
• Maintain high standards for clothing, footwear and personal hygiene.
• Daily staff management.

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at ICC Waterfront Hall, Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

• 40 hoursper week
• Days will vary - Evenings and Weekends
• Event Shifts – 16:00- 01:00, 18:00-01:00, 18:00-04:00

The Role:

• Contract Auditing – (Carry out Quality Audits as per schedule and per company policy)
• Client Contact – (Meet with Clients as per schedule)

• Assisting the operations manager with Induction Training - (All new starts and staff moving sites must get induction training as per induction training list)
• Ensuring all members of staff are completing their roles to the best of their abilities including checking each of their areas on an adhoc basis
• Ensuring all areas are fully stock such as toilet role dispensers, soap dispensers
• Keeping own store area clean, tidy, colour coded and up to spec.
• Fully flexible approach needed
• Holiday Cover – (Assist the are supervisor with Approving or not approving as per staff engagement APP, cover sickness)
• Stock Ordering
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Full compliance with COSHH and colour coding.
• Ensure all clothing, including footwear and personal hygiene is of the highest standards in accordance with company guidelines at all times.
