Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at ICC Waterfront, Belfast. The role focuses on contract audits, client contact, payroll assistance, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards during daily operations.

The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service, strong attention to detail, and relevant cleaning-related qualifications, with a flexible, hands-on approach and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Contract auditing and quality audits as per schedule and per company policy.
• Client contact and liaison with customers.
• Assisting with payroll when needed and ensuring stock levels of cleaning materials.
• Induction training for all new starts and staff moving sites.
• Ensuring all areas are stocked and maintained to specification and reporting hazards to line manager.

• Monday – Sunday
• 4 Week rolling rota
• Hours between 7:00am – 11:00pm

The Role

• Contract Auditing – (Carry out Quality Audits as per schedule and per company policy)
• Client Contact
• Assisting with Payroll when needed
• Uniform Checks
• Assisting the operations manager with Induction Training - (All new starts and staffmoving sites must get induction training as per induction training list)
• Ensuring all members of staff are completing their roles to the best of their abilities including checking each of their areas on an adhoc basis
• Ensuring all areas are fully stock such as toilet role dispensers, soap dispensers etc.
• Keeping own store area clean, tidy, colour coded and up to spec.
• Fully flexible approach needed
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other
• Health and Safety issues etc. to your Line Manager
• Machine Repairs
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP (Hazard analysis of critical control points) regulations asnecessary
• Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaningmaterials.
• Full compliance with COSHH and colour coding.
• Ensure all suggestions, comments or complaints are reported to the LineManager.

• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
