Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Manager for its Belfast operation. The role oversees day-to-day unit management, ensures high cleaning standards, and leads staff schedules, training and audits. Hybrid working pattern with 40 hours per week is typical.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months in a similar role, GCSEs in Maths and English (C or above), and a clean driving licence. Gloucestershire?

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience in a similar role.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Clean driving licence.
• Basic statutory training for the role is required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the unit.
• Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standard.
• Create staff schedules and manage holidays.
• Conduct onsite quality audits.
• Replenish and control cleaning stocks, materials and PPE.
• Liaise with client and attend departmental meetings.
• Handle complaints promptly and professionally.
• Lead the team and train staff to maintain standards.

The Role

• Responsibility for the day to day management of the unit.
• Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standard according to company training, including the use of cleaning machinery.
• Composing staff schedules and management of staff holidays
• Completing onsite quality Audits
• Replenishment and control of cleaning stocks, materials and PPE.
• Liaising with the client, central support functions and attending departmental meetings
• Dealing with complaints as they arise in a timely and professional manner.
• Conducting and recording staff training and leading the team to reach goals and maintain standards.

The Person

• Flexible approach to work and training, with regards to times and days worked
• An excellent eye for detail and an extremely high cleaning standard
• Customer service focused
• Communication skills and the ability to work under own initiative.
• Previous cleaning supervisory experience.
• Clean driving licence
• 6 months or more experience in a similar role.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
