Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our Belfast team at Glenowen. This 16-hour-per-week role runs 9am–1pm, four days out of seven with every other weekend off.

The role covers audits, client liaison, payroll assistance, stock control, and health and hygiene compliance. A flexible attitude and customer service-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Basic statutory training and strong reading/writing/speaking/listening skills for safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Contract auditing and quality checks as per schedule and policy.
• Client contact meetings as scheduled.
• Assisting with payroll when needed.
• Stock checking and store area upkeep.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met.

The Role:

• Contract Auditing – (Carry out Quality Audits as per schedule and per company policy)
• Client Contact – (Meet with Clients as per schedule)
• Assisting with Payroll when needed
• Check Staff Uniforms
• Assisting the operations manager with Induction Training - (All new starts and staff moving sites must get induction training as per induction training list)
• Ensuring all members of staff are completing their roles to the best of their abilities including checking each of their areas on an adhoc basis
• Ensuring all areas are fully stock such as toilet role dispensers, soap dispensers etc.
• Keeping own store area clean, tidy, colour coded and up to spec.
• Fully flexible approach needed
• Stock Ordering
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Full compliance with COSHH and colour coding.
• Ensure all clothing, including footwear and personal hygiene is of the highest standards in accordance with company guidelines at all times.
• Daily Staff Management

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
