Job summary

Mount Charles is seeking a Mobile Cleaning Operative to join their team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. This position offers a full-time contract of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00am to 3:00pm. Responsibilities include maintaining high housekeeping standards, providing cleaning services for various areas, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 07:00am – 3:00pm

The Role

• Provide the highest level of housekeeping/cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with client specifications
• Respond positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide a range of general cleaning services to include offices / meeting rooms, toilets / showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensure all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensure regular checks are carried out on the equipment and machines used during hours of work and all equipment is left clean
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials
• Report defective equipment / utensils / work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues
• Plan daily cleaning routes to ensure efficient travel between multiple sites
• Maintain a schedule to meet cleaning deadlines and client expectations
• Prioritise tasks based on site requirements

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS qualifications
• NVQ / SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Full clean driving licence required
