Mount Charles Group, a leading facilities management provider in Ireland, is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to work across Portadown sites. You will deliver high-standard housekeeping services and ensure all areas meet client specifications.

Role requires a full clean driving licence, strong customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and relevant cleaning qualifications. Access NI clearance is required; NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Previous work experience in customer service preferred.
• Current BICS Qualifications advantageous.
• Access NI Clearance required for the role.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage.
• Basic statutory training provisions apply to the role.

• Respond promptly, politely and professionally to customer requirements.
• Carry out general cleaning services for offices, toilets/showers and amenity areas site-wide.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Keep offices, toilets and amenities clean and tidy.
• Comply with HACCP regulations where applicable.
• Report defective equipment or safety issues.
• Plan daily cleaning routes for efficient site travel.
• Maintain schedules to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday

The Role

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices, toilets/showers and amenity areas site wide
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and Regulations
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues
• Plan daily cleaning routes to ensure efficient travel between multiple sites.
• Maintain a schedule to meet cleaning deadlines and client expectations.
• Prioritise tasks based on site requirements

The Person

• Full clean driving licence
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications
• Access NI Clearance required
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
