Mount Charles Group are recruiting a Cleaning Operative for the HSC Greystone Site, Antrim. This role provides cleaning across offices and amenity areas with a focus on customer service and safety, in a world-leading facilities management context.

Typical shifts are flexible and part-time (4 hours per week) with pro-rata annual leave, pension and wellbeing support. Mount Charles emphasizes equal opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in customer service environments is preferred.
• Good reading and listening skills for safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services to offices, meeting rooms, toilets and amenity areas site-wide.
• Respond professionally to customer requirements and maintain a courteous service.
• Ensure stocks are replenished and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Report defects to the Line Manager and follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Comply with HACCP and hygiene standards where required.
• Maintain a tidy presentation of all offices and amenity areas.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used
• During hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Line Manager
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, etc and amenity areas to be presented in a clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP (Hazard analysis of critical control points) regulations as necessary

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
