Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Head Chef to join the Belfast International Airport – Northern Quarter site. The role requires producing high-quality meals, reviewing seasonal costings with the General Manager, and ensuring HACCP and safety compliance.

You will work in a team, maintain hygiene, and deliver consistent service across shifts from 3:00pm to 22:00pm, 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. The company offers holidays, pension, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly service as part of a team.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment and keep displays stocked.

Role

• You are aChef that can produce great-tasting food, challenge standards, and ensure quality and consistency to company and brand specifications.
• Working with the General Manager to review menu costings and planning for seasonal business fluctuations
• Ensuring all bookwork is completed within agreed timescales and company requirements.
• Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are adhered to.
• Working as part of a team, you will provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting as directed with all aspects of food preparation and presentation to high quality standards.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; ensure tables, accompaniments and counters are kept clean and adequately supplied throughout the service period.
• Complying with all company and legal procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, health and safety and personal requirements.
• Displays are stocked at the end of each shift.

The Person

• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• 2 Years Experence in SimilarRole
• Food Hygiene Level 3 qualified
• Enthusiastic and passionate about our customer service and reputation.
• Self-motivated,workingoninitiative.

• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a dailybasis
