Job summary

Mount Charles is recruiting a Head Chef for Belfast International Airport - Northern Quarter site. You will lead kitchen operations, produce high-quality dishes and manage costings with the GM, while ensuring HACCP and safety compliance. The role offers a 40-hour week, 5 out of 7 days, with shifts from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.

You will mentor staff, maintain hygiene standards, and uphold the company’s values in a fast-paced environment. Join a leading facilities provider with strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a similar role.
• Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification.
• Enthusiastic about delivering customer service.

Responsibilities

• Produce great tasting food that meets brand specs and quality standards.
• Work with the General Manager on menu costing and seasonal planning.
• Complete all bookwork within agreed timescales and company requirements.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety and health and safety compliance at all times.
• Maintain hygienic, clean and well-supplied service environments.
• Adhere to all company procedures and safety regulations; keep displays stocked.

Role:

• You are aChef that can produce great-tasting food, challenge standards, and ensure quality and consistency to company and brand specifications.
• Working with the General Manager to review menu costings and planning for seasonal business fluctuations
• Ensuring all bookwork is completed within agreed timescales and company requirements.
• Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are adhered to.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; ensure tables, accompaniments and counters are kept clean and adequately supplied throughout the service period.
• Complying with all company and legal procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, health and safety and personal requirements.
• Displays are stocked at the end of each shift.

The Person:

• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• 2 Years Experience in SimilarRole
• Food Hygiene Level 3 qualified
• Enthusiastic and passionate about our customer service and reputation.
• Self-motivated,workingoninitiative.
• Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a dailybasis
