Mount Charles Group, a leading facilities management provider based in Lisburn, is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team at Friends School. This role offers a 25-hour week Monday to Friday evenings and a chance to contribute to high cleaning standards in a busy environment.

You'll ensure safety, COSHH compliance, and efficient cleaning, while supporting the team with training and holidays. The company promotes development, offers benefits, and values reliable, customer-focused staff.

Responsibilities

• Along with your team of cleaners, you will ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed after training.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty and tag as faulty.
• Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and ensure equipment is stored safely.

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at Friends School, Lisburn. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company. Working Pattern:

• 25 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 8:30pm

The Role:

• Along with your team ofcleaners, you will ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards - this to include weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH)
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use
• Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriate at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and ‘warn’ customers where possible
• Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy and equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. The post also requires proficient skills in computer literacy.
