Job summary

Kpler in London is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own the revenue intelligence pillar, building and maintaining data models and reporting that track ARR, retention, pipeline, churn, and renewals. You will model Salesforce and subscription billing data in BigQuery and deliver via Looker and AI-assisted tools.

This role sits between data engineering and commercial analytics, tackling data quality issues and helping Finance and Sales interpret trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or related data role, with at least 2 years owning a data domain end to end.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery).
• Experience with data modelling concepts including grain, dimensional modelling, deduplication, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Production experience with Looker and LookML, building and maintaining data models, Explores, and dashboards.
• Experience with CRM and subscription billing data (Salesforce, Stripe) for SaaS revenue metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain governed revenue datasets in BigQuery powering ARR, GRR, NRR, pipeline, churn, and renewal reporting.
• Model data from Salesforce and subscription billing systems into clean reporting tables with clear grain and definitions.
• Build and maintain LookML models, Explores, and dashboards for revenue reporting with consistent definitions.
• Deliver analytics end-to-end from stakeholder requirements to dashboards, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to AI revenue analytics tools by curating datasets and documenting outputs.
• Develop data quality checks to catch duplicates, mis-grain issues, and missing filters before impact.
• Investigate revenue data escalations and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Apply software engineering practices to BI codebase (Git, testing, documentation).
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, IT, Product, and Finance to define metrics and deliverables.
• Explain revenue metrics and outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders and promote self-service.
