Job summary
The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is seeking a Housing Support Assistant at Longbridge Retirement Village, Birmingham. This part-time, permanent role involves supporting older residents to live as independently as possible and assisting with tenancy matters.

Qualifications
- Experience in housing-related or support services roles.
- Proven customer service experience is desirable.
- Empathetic, friendly and able to build relationships with residents.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
Responsibilities
- Showing potential residents around the village and apartments.
- Helping residents settle into their new home.
- Responding to tenancy or lease issues that may arise.
- Ensuring residents’ wellbeing is monitored daily.
- Helping residents thrive within a retirement setting.
- Carrying out resident visits and attending community meetings.
- Collaborating with other teams to meet resident needs.
