ExtraCare Charitable Trust in Birmingham is recruiting a Part-Time Housing Support Assistant at Hagley Road Retirement Village. The role is 12 hours per week, on a 4-day pattern with a rolling 3-week rota and one weekend in three. Salary £13.83 per hour (£8,655 pa pro rata).

The post supports residents' wellbeing and tenancy matters. You will show potential residents around the village, help them settle, respond to tenancy issues, and participate in community meetings, working closely with other

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housing-related or support services role
• Strong administrative skills
• Ability to engage with vulnerable residents and provide information, advice and guidance

Responsibilities

• Show potential residents around the Village and apartments
• Help residents settle into their new home
• Respond to tenancy or lease issues
• Monitor residents' wellbeing daily
• Support residents to thrive in a retirement setting
• Attend resident visits and community meetings
• Collaborate with other teams to meet resident needs
