The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is recruiting for a part-time Housing Support Assistant on a permanent contract, based at Longbridge Retirement Village, Birmingham.

The role focuses on assisting residents with housing needs, welcoming new residents, and monitoring wellbeing in a supportive retirement setting. The position offers a pro-rata benefits package and a friendly, community-driven environment.

Formación

• Experience in housing-related or support services with advice and guidance.
• Excellent customer service and engaging personality.
• Empathetic, friendly, and able to build relationships with residents.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Show potential residents around the village/apartments.
• Help settle residents into their new home.
• Respond to tenancy or lease issues.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing daily.
• Ensure residents thrive within a retirement setting.
• Carry out resident visits and participate in community meetings.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet resident needs.
