Job summary

McCarthy Stone is recruiting a part-time House Manager for Loddon House in Twyford, Reading. 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, year-round. Salary: £18,798 per annum.

Role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, front-of-house duties and events coordination to build a thriving homeowner community. The successful candidate will welcome homeowners, manage visits, coordinate activities, and liaise with partners to keep the estate running smoothly while ensuring safety and privacy are

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Extensive experience in customer service oriented roles.
• A professional approach with high quality standards.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, varied environment.
• Basic Health and Safety awareness; first aid training is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming homeowners and helping them settle into their apartments.
• Provide a professional front of house service and greet visitors.
• Be the first point of contact for homeowners and offer help and advice.
• Collaborate with partners and suppliers to run the estate smoothly.
• Represent McCarthy Stone to homeowners' families and friends.
• Handle issues confidentially and respect homeowners’ privacy.
• Manage gardens and grounds to maintain a safe, pleasant environment.
• Facilitate social activities and promote retirement living.
• Ensure Health and Safety requirements are followed.
