Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a customer-focused House Manager for Juliette House in Westgate-on-Sea, Kent. The role covers front-of-house, facilities management, and event coordination to support homeowners’ independence and sense of community.

You will build relationships with residents, coordinate social activities, and report updates to the management team. 30 hours weekly, salary £22,557.60 per annum, with benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a real can do attitude.
• Extensive experience in a professional customer service orientated position.
• A professional approach with high quality standards.
• Thrives in a busy and varied role, where every day will be different.
• Be resilient and can problem solve effectively.
• An awareness of basic Health and Safety will be a distinct advantage.
• A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Previous/current work based first aid qualifications will be an advantage and training is provided on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming new Homeowners and helping them settle into their apartments.
• Providing a professional front of house service and greeting visitors.
• Serving as the first point of contact for Homeowners and offering help and advice.
• Collaborating with partners and suppliers to ensure smooth estate operation.
• Being the face of McCarthy Stone for homeowners’ families and friends.
• Handling homeowner issues with confidentiality and discretion.
• Managing the development—gardens and grounds—for a safe, well maintained environment.
• Facilitating social interaction and retirement living activities.
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met.
