Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to model our values and lead a high‑performing store team. You’ll coach staff, drive sales, and run the store in the manager’s absence while ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers.

You’ll oversee daily operations, from opening and closing to coaching on customer service and visual merchandising, ensuring cost-conscious, high-standard execution across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in Fashion or Homeware retail.
• Strong communication to engage and motivate others.
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and improve performance.
• Understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM) and store layouts.
• Ability to open and close the store and manage in the manager's absence.

Responsibilities
