Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to guide and motivate a high-performing store team in the UK. You will lead daily operations, open and close the store, and ensure exceptional customer experiences aligned with Matalan values.

You’ll drive sales growth, manage visual merchandising, and develop colleagues to achieve strong performance while adapting to seasonal priorities and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in fashion or homeware retail.
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Evidence of leadership experience.
• Good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM).
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas.
• Knowledge of operational processes and costs in retail.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
