Job summary

Cass Art Kings Cross is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our retail management team. You will work with the Store Manager to run day-to-day shop floor operations and directly supervise Retail Sales Assistants, Key Holders and Stock Assistants.

You will help monitor store performance, contribute ideas to boost sales, and maintain high standards of merchandising, customer service and cash handling. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Numerate and analytical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction
• Team management including recruitment, rotas, grievance issues and discipline
• Overseeing and coordinating the daily cash reconciliation and banking procedures for the store
• Maintaining merchandising and housekeeping standards
• Maintaining effective communication with Head Office as necessary
