Job summary

The White Company in Aberdeen is seeking a Shop Supervisor to provide visible leadership on the shop floor, guiding a team to deliver warm, brand-led customer experiences and strong day-to-day performance. You act as a key link between the team and management, translating priorities into action.

This role represents progression from delivering results yourself to supporting others to perform consistently, building confidence in people leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or a service-led environment with exposure to guiding others.
• Ability to inspire through warmth, communication and example.
• Confident, proactive and solution-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver warm, brand-led customer experiences.
• Coach and support team members during shifts with clear priorities.
• Support onboarding and training of new starters and reinforce standards.
• Balance operational tasks with maintaining excellent service on the shop floor.
• Escalate issues clearly to store management and share customer insights.
