Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week in Harrogate. You will supervise a frontline team, manage till operations, and contribute to delivering high-quality customer service.

This role requires reliable leadership, the ability to work 5 days out of 7, and a commitment to food hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive, welcoming environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team stays proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
