Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

You will supervise a frontline team, handle till operations, and assist with rotas, stock, and compliance with food handling and health & safety standards, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Excellent communication with a focus on customer service.
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
• Capable of working under pressure while maintaining a positive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Compiling with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
