Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You'll oversee daily tasks, supervise frontline staff and help maintain high standards of quality and service in a busy catering environment.

Key responsibilities include checking deliveries, stock control, producing weekly rotas, handling till cash, and upholding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Use the till, take orders and receive payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following management guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
