New Balance in Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Retail Associate who can engage customers, educate on products, and deliver an enjoyable shopping experience from entry to exit. You will support store standards, training, and daily operations while contributing to team KPIs.

The role emphasises flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for retail, with opportunities for progression and an employee bonus scheme.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Open and close the store following the correct company procedures
• Encourage continuous improvement through ongoing feedback
• Support the Store Management team on overall store and back of house standards
• Assist in training and coaching Associates
• To achieve personal KPIs and contribute to overall store performance
• Deliver total customer satisfaction to every customer, following the end-to-end customer journey - from entering the store to leaving the store
• Help to ensure the store remains commercial as possible following company guidelines
• Adhere to company's policies and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards in store
• Perform other duties that as required from the management team

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Previous retail experience desirable or proven experience in a team environment
• Demonstrate customer service skills
• A passion for retail and sales
• Desire to learn
• Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processesUnderstanding of POS register systems
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
