Job summary

inploi is recruiting a Retail Supervisor in Merthyr Tydfil to join a fast-paced high street retailer. The role covers 16 hours per week with flexibility to take on more hours; the candidate will support management with daily store duties, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, understands retail KPIs, and can help colleagues develop their skills. The position offers competitive pay and the chance to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leader experience within a fast-paced high street retailer.
• Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators; including sales, profit and service
• The ability to help others to develop and improve their skills

Responsibilities

• Support management with the day-to-day running of the store and drive sales.
• Deliver high quality customer service and maintain store standards.
• Keep shelves stocked and the store looking its best.
• Help reduce shrinkage and till errors to protect store profitability.
• Contribute to hitting targets and keeping operations running smoothly.

Hours: 16 hours a week with the opportunity to work more hours

Shifts: Flexible, Availability to be able to do 6am starts and occasional night shifts

Salary: £13.50 per hour
