Clarks in Lancaster is seeking an inspiring Store Manager to lead our team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience at the store level.

You will drive sales and profitability, coach a high-performing team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining brand standards. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management across all store operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in retail management including leading a team, delivering consumer experience and managing store budgets.
• Track record of delivering or surpassing sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve targets and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage controllable costs and store profitability.
• Oversee daily store operations during trading hours and ensure visual merchandising standards.
• Review customer feedback and take action to improve sales and service quality.
• Plan staffing levels and rotas aligned to trading plans and peak periods.
• Recruit, develop and train a high performing team and manage HR processes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and data protection policies are followed.
• Maintain stock control, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures.
