Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to join our store team in the United Kingdom. You will lead the team to deliver a great customer experience across all store areas, working with colleagues to handle day-to-day operations.

Salary starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. We welcome applicants aged 18 or over and offer flexible working patterns where possible.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store customer experience.
• Work across store areas with colleagues as the go-to for day-to-day queries.
• Build positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt to change.
• Coach colleagues, give feedback and model great service.
• Be over 18 and have experience in team lead or management in fast-paced retail.
