Job summary

One Stop is seeking a Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will own duty shifts, coordinate a team, and ensure a clean, well-presented store that delivers excellent customer service.

You will coach colleagues on the job and seek constant service improvements to place the customer at the heart of every decision. You will be responsible for opening/closing, daily priorities, safety and compliance, and acting as a point of contact in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Retail store leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team to deliver smooth store operations and customer service.
• Open/close the store and manage duty coverage while prioritising safety.
• Act as the go-to person for colleagues in absence of Store Manager.
• Support Store Manager with community events and store presentation.
• Ensure store is clean, well-presented and stocked with priority items.
• Manage queues and customer queries to deliver a great shopping experience.
• Lead staff scheduling and breaks to align with trade patterns.
• Escalate issues to Store Manager when needed and maintain health & safety routines.
